This piece is two eccentrically borne discs, which can be adjusted by pivoting, so that new forms of jewellery can be formed continually. The set remains stable as it has a spring set in the inside, which called for exacting levels of craftsmanship. The influence technology at the time had influenced many jewelers to explore different ways to make jewellery, and its functions. The piece is balanced, and is geometrical, it flows and has curvature. It looks sort of like a sculpture, and has a geological texture.

This piece mimics what other famous artists were doing at the time. Repeated patterns, simple forms spirals and technically sophisticated. The metal and semi precious stones look like they are floating. It was also popular to make things 3 dimensional and space age. It is a typical piece of its time.
